It's not oily, but it's not a deeply moisturizing cream, which is something I expect with under-eye moisturizers. I would say it's not for day or going out. When I use it prior to applying under eye concealer my makeup doesn't mix well with it--kind of creates a dry clumpy look. Not desirable. A few people have asked how I keep my skin wrinkle essentially wrinkle free since I am light skinned and live in sunny Hawaii, I often shrug and just thank God.
