We have a 2ish year old husky Shepard mix who is very high energy. After about 10 minutes of playing with this ball, mainly pushing it around while attempting to grab it with his teeth, wore him out. I definitely recommend it if you have a high energy dog and a tough chewer. I feel like this ball will last for a while since he can’t actually get it between his teeth to destroy it. Review: Great for your herding dog, soft on the nose, so far hasn’t popped it. - Great product. It’s like they put a tennis ball over a basketball. My boy loves it. He normally pops every ball within 10 minutes or less. So far this has survived a few months. There isn’t any sharp plastic to cut his nose. He can’t get his mouth around it to pop it. The covering makes it softer on his nose. My boy is a Australian Cattle Dog ( Heeler ) and around 50 pounds/ 22.6 kg ## Features - Material: Our dog tennis ball is made of natural rubber and ultra thick felt material. Mine did, but the ball would not hold air. Lousy quality product! **Q: This is $5 at Five Below and dollar general, isn’t this a bit high ?** A: Wish I only spent $5! This didn’t even last 5 mins! **Q: Mine just arrived and no inflation needle was included. Very disappointing. ?** A: Yeah they don’t include one. I had gotten a pump from here and it came with several. **Q: Do you have this ball suitable for a strong, 20 lb Cat?** A: Well my dog is a German shepherd and she weighed 48 pounds and popped this 10 minut s after receiving it. When it arrived, I was surprised to find that it is more like an inflatable ball, as opposed to an actual tennis ball. It has a valve stem that you can inflate and deflate the ball as you require. The outside feels like a tennis ball, but it is definitely not as solid or sturdy. SO l Literally inflated it for my dog, gave it to her, and she was super excited by it! Unfortunately, it was lightly punctured by her in the first 15 minutes and deflated most of the way. You would think this is where the story ends, but not exactly. Initially I was upset that it punctured so easily. I was going to return it, however she continued to play with it semi deflated. I think it allowed her to hold it better in her mouth, shake it around and "teach it some respect!" :) (see video) So after several month, this is still her favorite toy and she walks around with it all the time. Other than the initial puncture, it has worn well, it is still in tact, which is impressive for my dog. So while I feel it should not be advertised as a "tennis ball", as it it more like an inflatable ball, my dog still loves it, so that is hwy I am giving it 4 stars The Mad Medic ## Frequently Bought Together - Banfeng Giant 9.5" Dog Tennis Ball Large Pet Toys Funny Outdoor Sports Ball with Inflating Needles for Small Medium Large Dog - Chuckit!
