This retro shoe is not just footwear; it's a cultural icon that has stood the test of time. ## Description A shoe that needs no introduction, the Adidas Superstar 1 men's retro shoe is an absolute footwear legend. The Superstar was introduced in 1969 as the first low-top retro shoe, and reached critical mass during the mid 70s when nearly three quarters of all the NBA players were sporting shell toes. These days, of course, you're more likely to spot the Adidas Superstar on the street than the court, but don't let that fool you, or you're likely to get schooled big time. This pair of shoes features: Suede and leather upper is abrasion resistant, supportive and stylish. Contrast color stitching accents. Adidas signature side striped and contrast green trefoil logo on matching heel overlay. Full lace up front for personalized fit. Rubber shell toe for extra durability and protection in a hard-worn area. Herringbone tread for resilient traction on most surfaces. Sculpted EVA midsole offers flexible lightweight support. Durable rubber outsole provides long-lasting shock absorption. Now the only question that remains is: Are you ready to be a Superstar?! ## Images ![adidas Superstar Mens Basketball Shoes - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/516-u5WY0UL.jpg) ![adidas Superstar Mens Basketball Shoes - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51MsBGrqltL.jpg) ![adidas Superstar Mens Basketball Shoes - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51iFDiIqG7L.jpg) ![adidas Superstar Mens Basketball Shoes - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51+0Mk22hJL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ First time buying shoes from amazing. Very stylish *by S***E on Reviewed in the United States on July 28, 2013* Pros-First perfectly which is surprising since I didnt get the chance to try them on first.-You cant see it that well on the thumbnail but there is a green trim and lettering which I think makes the shows very appealing.-Feels comfortable just like my old Adidas shows.-You can wear these for almost every occasion with any outfit.-You are not buying from a store where everyone is trying the shoes on their feet... probably without socks too. ewwCons-You have to "break them in" the first day you get them which I thought was strange. So the first day I put these on I was worried at first. They didn't seem to feel right near my heel and they squeaked quite a bit while walking. I was disappointed was the squeak and considering returning them. The next day however it was gone and the shoes fit perfectly. This was strange to me as all my previous adidas shoes were fine when I bought them. That was probably because so many people have tried them on at stores... Anyways day two and beyond, these shoes are stylish and no issues. Glad I bought them from amazon. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great looking shoes good for anything *by W***Z on Reviewed in the United States on July 8, 2013* First off I have wide feet. The best fitting pair of footwear I have are my Belleville 10EEE steel toed jungle boots and likewise my other Belleville insulated gore tex boots. So finding 'regular' people everyday shoes that don't hurt me can be pretty tough.I took a chance with these adidas and they do run a little tight but I have been keeping at them and adjusting the laces and they are stretching. Quickly turning into one of my favorite pairs of shoes. They are comfortable and look good. I will be purchasing another pair. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Didn't fit well *by B***E on Reviewed in the United States on January 1, 2014* These shoes look excellent, but just like buying any shoes online, there was a risk they wouldn't fit well.I wore these for over a month, giving my feet time to get used to them. Even after a month, they felt uncomfortable. More specifically, they were a bit too narrow for my feet and rubbed on one side. I've never worn wide-size shoes before, but I would consider it with these if available. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hr/products/4623048-adidas-superstar-mens-basketball-shoes](https://www.desertcart.hr/products/4623048-adidas-superstar-mens-basketball-shoes) --- *Product available on Desertcart Croatia* *Store origin: HR* *Last updated: 2026-11-02*
