## Description

Supple goat-grain drivers gloves with Superior’s own Oilbloc treatment for exceptional protection from water and oil. Oil simply won’t soak through, not hours—or even days—after being dropped onto leather. They are also tough and long lasting. Goatskin is prized for its high tensile-strength and abrasion-resistant properties, and is often referred to as nature’s strongest leather! Arc-flash testing placed these gloves at level 2, with a rating of ATPV = 21 cal/cm². Note: these gloves are designed for spark and flame resistance, not thermal contact. Seamless-knit, cut-resistant Kevlar liner. Elasticized backs for a snug fit, gloves slip on and off easily.

**Q: How do these do in cold weather keeping your hands warm?**
A: They have light insulation so it depends on what you mean by cold weather.  Sub-zero?  No.  Between freezing and 65°, sure.

**Q: Will these help my husband not cut his finger off on his circular saw?**
A: No they will not protect against the saw.

**Q: How water resistant are these gloves?**
A: For a test,  I put the gloves on and put my hands in a bucket of water up to the wrist area of the gloves for 10 minutes, no soak through was felt. Great gloves.

**Q: Are these made in Canada?**
A: Not 100% sure but I believe they are. They have a Maple Leaf stamped on the glove.

I don’t exactly know what these are made out of, or how the leather is bonded to the liner. Obviously leather outer, but when combined with the liner it makes them pretty much invincible. They are expensive, but they will last 5 times longer than a regular leather glove. Don’t let the liner scare you, I’m in south Texas, hot for 9 months a year. The liner wicks sweat and to some extent keeps your hands cooler and dryer than a regular sweat soaked leather glove. I weld, clear brush (all loaded with thorns), and do basically anything you would do normally with gloves. The one and only disadvantage of these is the leather will get torn up when working with barbed wire, almost like it peels off the gloves. The barbs won’t get you, but they do tear up the leather more so than a normal leather glove. I’ve also turned them inside out and washed them multiple times, which makes the leather very slick when it drys. But still, those mentioned problems are well beyond the normal service life of any other glove.
