They are much more comfortable than I expected. I love the sock lining that most other jazz shoes are lacking. I dance Brazilian zouk 3-4 times a week. The floor of our practice space tends to tear up suede sole dance shoes- many of my class mates have switched to dance sneakers that are more durable. I have been very surprised at how well these are holding up. The bottom of the shoe is a plastic with suede surround. I have good balance in these and can spin easily. Just extremely happy with them and want to order other colors.For sizing: I normally wear between a 9-9.5 in street shoes. I got the 9.5 in these and they fit as expected- which for me means there is just a bit of space that allows me to wear socks to protect an old toe injury. The 9 would have been a tight fit, I think. Then, I opened the box. THe shoe box itself was a crude sort of mini-me. ripped halfway down one side, missing tabs, squashed, crumpled, the whole deal. then we get to the shoes. they were better than whatr they came in but still had "problems." the sole was wrinkled at the toe and when i bent the shoe, it peeled out completely. they smell strange and i would not reccommend these. if you want quality shoes, GO TO A STORE WHERE YOU CAN TRY THEM ON. these are not what i would consider quality. i'm displeased with the product and the condition as well as the service. i have returned them. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Great Dance shoe! *by B***L on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on November 6, 2013* these shoes fit my 14 yr. old daughter perfectly.
