I found this bar looking for something more nourishing and nutrient dense than the standard protein or meal replacement bar, and as a Registered Dietitian, boy does this thing deliver!Flavor is pretty good, like a soft Scottish shortbread cookie. There's a slight protein and mineral taste in the beginning that your taste buds get used to after a couple bars. This is probably the issue most people have with the flavor, and most people don't bother to try it more than once, which you should ALWAYS do with new foods - some picky eaters need 10+ times before they accept something new.What you can't argue with is the effects: it sits well in the stomach, it's filling and gives a definite energy boost that goes beyond the calories you're getting.
