Velcro is strong but easily put down and taken back up without any damage to carpet. Vacuum easily rolls right over spots with no catching. I use them over and over again. Perfect thickness and a great value for the money way! Highly recommend for classroom use!

**Q: Can you vacuum over these?**
A: Yes. They stick well to the carpet. I use them in my classroom and the custodian even says he can vacuum over them without trouble. They stay in place.

**Q: Can i write on the top?**
A: Sure, you can write with permanent marker!

**Q: Would these work outdoors or would they blow away easily? Looking to space our children while outside on grass**
A: Outside would be tricky. These are very light and would not adhere to anything. They would definitely blow away. You might be better off using some type of nontoxic paint to spray spots on the grass.

**Q: Is the Velcro really rough?**
A: Yes it was vacuum is over daily in the preschool and it did not move the only time it did move was one of the children deliberately peeled it off
