For a while now I've been making the sugar water from scratch. It's easy but still one more thing to do plus it has to cool off before I can put it into the feeders. The main reason I made it myself was that all the products I found on the market contained preservatives. Even the die free ones. Then I found this product and it has made filling my hummingbird feeders that much easier! One bottle is enough to pretty much fill all 5 of my small feeders.I am so grateful to them for making a clean product that is die AND preservative free! All of a sudden I had flocks of hummingbirds feeding at my 2 feeders. At one point they were out of that brand for quite a while. I tried every other brand of hummingbird food that they had, my birds would no longer feed at my feeders. I tried the local birds shop's brand, with no luck. I tried the Audubon Society food, again they would not feed.
