They were pretty & gave a nice glow. I had also bought the multi color ones but returned them. They stayed mostly red & all but 2 string flashed rapidly instead of just fading into the next color. I returned the multi colored ones & ordered a second set of the white ones. Return was simple & fast with no problems. Love the white ones. And you need a tiny screwdriver to change the batteries (3 LR44 batteries per cork).
