A: It is 8 oz. The label lists the serving size as 1 teaspoon and states that there are 70 servings per container.

A: I think it has a slight tomato flavor...I use it often in recipes that have tomatoes in them.

A: The red pepper does not come from peppercorns, it comes from chili peppers.

I am so happy for my purchase. I love adding this to everything. I really didn't care for it alone with water, but I do love it's added benefits and flavor to my fresh veggies. Adds a good deal of flavor to otherwise rather bland vegetables--veggie stews and the like. I'm trying to lose weight, so I've been adding this supplement to a cup of warm water to drink between meals for a pick-me-up. I feel "safe" when I drink it because I know I'm not putting salt and other harmful elements into my body, and it tastes good with no calories to speak of. I'm grateful to be able to have it, I'll buy it again when it's gone! You may have to be of a certain "vegan" or "mostly vegan" mindset to enjoy it, but I'm certain it would be good in a meat based dish as well. If you can imagine a veggie powdered bouillon without salt or MSG, that would be a most apt description. .
