A good tip is to line the guards up where you want them, hold them down with a little blue painters tape and heat a paper clip to melt holes into the body. A standard paper clip was the perfect size to let the tiny metal screw thread into the plastic then use the nut on the backside to hold everything in place. The rear light guards were a bit tricky with the pro scale light kit but it worked out perfectly.
