Review: Secure your Jeep - After I found out how easy it was to defeat the Jeep alarm, (open the hood pull the fuse) I figured an extra layer of security was a good idea. I know that nothing will stop a determined thief but every little bit helps, and for the price, it's a no-brainer. Super easy to install. The only shortcoming so to speak is that the red key is great, but the second black key is a bit too short for the grille that I've got. Still would recommend.

After I found out how easy it was to defeat the Jeep alarm, (open the hood pull the fuse) I figured an extra layer of security was a good idea. I know that nothing will stop a determined thief but every little bit helps, and for the price, it's a no-brainer. Super easy to install. The only shortcoming so to speak is that the red key is great, but the second black key is a bit too short for the grille that I've got. Still would recommend.

Keeps the thief out and the owner out. It’s a 30% chance that this thing actually works unlocks. I don’t advise it. Just spend the extra money for one that works or get locking latches. Trust me.
