Review: Elegant But Not What I Expected - There is nothing to dislike about this coverlet. I expected it to be very soft and silky because of the polyester, but it feels more like a stiffer cotton. It washes beautifully and I hope the more I wash it, it will soften up. The pattern looks like a basket weave as you might tell in the photo and is definitely an ivory color against the white. I bought it as a lightweight throw to use in addition to a microfiber blanket. Sometimes it is a little too warm, but is easily folded back. It certainly was an extremely reasonable price. One of the pillow shams was missing in the packaging, but I did not need the shams so let it go. The packaging was beautifully done and although the throw wasn't what I expected, I am happy to have it.

I like the color very much. It seems to be made well. I got the green,. It IS lightweight and wouldn't keep you very warm by itself. I have a blanket in between the top sheet an the quilt and that has worked perfectly.
