I have an elderly dog who was afraid to go down the stairs, but I didn't want to glue or staple my finished wood stairs. This was a perfect solution and they vacuum well also!! I was considering carpeting the staircase for the safety of people and dogs on the stairs, but these treads do the trick and look great too.They are thicker and more stable and secure than the less expensive treads that we replaced -- the type that sits on top of the stair and needs carpet tape. These don't need tape. Just clean the stair and press down on the tread. Love these! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Look great!
