I did not want to carry on my shoulder all of these items so I purchased this carry-on based on the measurements and the design accommodations that it will fit my equipment. I was pleasantly surprised that although it is marketed to only fit a 13-in laptop, it did fit my 15-in when I placed it in vertically and the band that secures the laptop is stretchy enough to accommodate for this. Underneath the 15-in laptop sleeve, there is enough room to place my 17-in monitor along with a 14.5-in keyboard inside a cloth case. The fit is a bit snug but it works. And the other part of the clamshell still has room to pack one set of clothes and some toiletries. I had previously purchased a soft cloth under seat carry-on in the past but found that it is easy to over pack an under seat carry-on if it expands. That defeats the purpose of being able to place this under your seat. I needed a carry-on that in the event there was no overhead space, it would still fit under my seat. The hard case shell prevents over packing in nooks and crannies that will then cause trouble with getting your carry-on to fit underneath a plane seat. This carry-on also has fantastic rollers and a very sturdy handle. It's also made beautifully.
