Review: Need to open a MacBook Pro or MacBook Air? This is what you need - I was in the midst of a SSD drive upgrade on my MacBook Pro and needed to get the back cover off. To open a MacBook and remove the SSD will require a special screwdriver (T5 and T2) that is well made. This is exactly what I needed and worked perfectly. The cost of these is more than reasonable. The size of these worked great to use the proper down force to make sure you don't strip the screws. Make sure you use the exact fit for your computer or else you may strip the screws. These were more than durable for me and are now going to sit around until I play with the MacBook Air of my college student. Good luck to those "do it yourself-ers". No need to pay anyone to do these sort of simple upgrades. I was glad to use aOWC Aura SSD (https://amzn.to/2HOJoeM) for mine. I also purchased an external enclosure (https://amzn.to/2HWY5MI) from desertcart for the job. Enjoy. Be well and stay safe.

The pentalobe drivers aren't marked as P2, P5, P6, as I'm used to, just the size in mm plus a 5-point star symbol. Enough to figure out which driver will fit what screw. Worked to open up and take apart and reassemble an Early 2015 Macbook Air 13. Others have complained about the durability, particularly when removing stuck screws, but I can't imagine using enough force with these small drivers to damage them before damaging what you're working on with these.

I was in the midst of a SSD drive upgrade on my MacBook Pro and needed to get the back cover off. To open a MacBook and remove the SSD will require a special screwdriver (T5 and T2) that is well made. This is exactly what I needed and worked perfectly. The cost of these is more than reasonable. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ P5 Screwdriver for MacBook Pro retina

Well made drivers and perfect for removing the back cover of an Apple Mackbook Pro 15" (mid 2015). Due to the tiny screws, the magnetized driver makes the process easy. The P5 driver only gets the cover off, now you need (not supplied) a T6 screwdriver for "Torx screws, (6 sided screw)". For this Mac all you need is the P5 & T6. I changed the DC-in board with the help of infix.com, 23 steps to remove the part and its rather difficult due to the very small wire harnesses/ components etc. To change this part the mac is literally pulled apart and takes about 1 1/2 hours.
