Equipped with a proprietary EPOS low-latency dongle, the wireless H3PRO Hybrid headset delivers lag-free audio so you can quickly react to in-game cues. Impressive battery life Enjoy up to 30 hours of wireless gaming on the low-latency dongle, 19 hours with ANC. Up to 38 hours of audio on a Bluetooth connection, 22 hours with ANC. Up to 29 hours with the 3.5 mm cable, 18,5 hours with ANC. Enhanced Noise Cancellation The headset eliminates noise through adjustable angled ear cups and cushy ergonomic ear pads. A built-in ANC slider turns on low frequency noise cancellation to keep distractions at bay and unlock a next-level immersive experience. Audio Mixing Simultaneous Bluetooth let you mix audio streams with either the lag-free wireless or wired connections with your smartphone device. With separate volume control over each audio stream, you can make a call or chat with your friends using a 3rd party app on your phone while fighting epic battles. iOS devices will not mix in calls with the dongle connection. Instead, the headset will route audio to your mobile device, and route it back again to game audio when call ends. Dual-microphone design with detachable boom arm Maximize the clarity of your in-game chat with noise canceling dual microphone technology. Remove the detachable boom arm when on-the-go and the secondary microphone located on the ear cup will be ready for action. Lightweight adjustable fit Find your perfect fit using the H3PRO Hybrid’s stainless steel headband slider and angled ear cups. Once you get it just right, use the headset’s click stops to lock in your preference.

Review: Good gaming headphones - So after a lot of researching for a good set of wireless headphones, i finally settled on these. I've been using them for about a day and this is what i've found so far using them. The Good. They're comfy to wear. Haven't done any super long sessions with them yet, but i didn't feel like my head was in a vice. I've got a big head, so that's a winner in my books. Also you can wear them with glasses and not feel like they're trying to push them through your head. The build quality so far looks and feels solid. They look premium and feel it too, which is what you want when you're about to spend this kind of money. The ear cups feel good and didn't noticeably make my head feel warm or hot. Not sure how that will be in the summer though. The sound quality is good. These are primarily aimed at gamers and not audiophiles. The sound definitely focuses more around the bass. If you like that kind of sound profile like me, i feel you will like these. Again, they were good for watching movies, and were ok for music. Comparing them to my Sony WH-1000XM3, you're going to notice the difference. However, i didn't buy these for the reason of listening to music, i bought them for gaming. Battery life, so far it's pretty good. If you're in a long session and run out of battery you can plug them in via the USB C connector to your PC and carry on, just like if they were wired. However, i haven't tested this in anger to see if what EPOS claims is true. I love the detachable mic. It's one of the main reasons i went with these. I have a desk mic, so wasn't fussed about the microphone. So i can't comment if the quality of the mic is any good. Connecting them to my PC was super simple. Honestly, plug the dongle in and turn them on. Let the PC do the rest. That simple. Now for the OK The desktop software is not great and is by far my biggest issue. There's is a huge amount of room for improvement here. This is what i have found so far. It feels a strange mix between keeping things simple, and not providing enough to actually use it properly. I found it took a little while for it to realise you have the headphones wireless connected. And when it does connect, i found it forget my previous configuration. For example, if you had them configured for mode 2.0 and then shut down your PC. When you next load it up, the mode will be back to 7.1. This gets tiring pretty quickly. We'll call this a bug (feature) for now. As mentioned above, I've noticed when plugging them in and going back to wireless there is a lag in the software. There isn't in the headphones, it's instant. Which is good, but again points to another bug potentially. You can only tell how much battery life is left from the desktop app when you're using the dongle it seems. Not a huge issue, but it would be better if you could tap the power button and it told you. Further to that, when you turn them on it does tell you the battery life. However, if you have 100% battery, it will tell you you have more than 80% battery left. I found this pretty annoying, as i want to be specific. You can only access the troubleshooting option from the system try EPOS icon by right clicking on it. Not from the main app, which means it could easily be overlooked. Even then, the troubleshooting guide seems separate as it listed a completely different model of headphone. The volume wheel doesn't feel as good as my previous Sennheiser wired headset. It's an infinite rotation, so no min or max to it. However, it just doesn't feel as smooth to me. Which if i'm honest, i'll use very little as my keyboard has a great volume wheel on it and i use that already. The ANC just feels not good at all. Honestly, i couldn't tell the difference when it was on and when it was off. It definitely didn't block out the sound of my typing when it was on. Also, It's either on or off, there's no ANC profiles so you can configure how sensitive you want the ANC to be. When it is on though i found you got this strange white noise background. Which was just annoying. If you want ANC, i would say don't get these for that reason. Some nit picking issues. There's no L and R markings on them. This isn't a problem when the microphone is connected, but when it's removed, i've found myself checking which way round they should be before putting them on. This will obviously fade with time as i get used to them. The box they came in didn't exactly scream premium. An odd thing to pick up on i know, but if you're about to drop this kind of money on some gaming headphones you want the full experience right? Conclusion Am i happy i got them? Yes, definitely, they're good wireless gaming headphones. The main issues i have with them are things which can be fixed through updates. I got these for gaming and watching the odd TV/Film on my PC. I'm not about to go and listen to my music collection with these, as there are better options when it comes to that. As you can tell my main issue with them so far is the desktop software. EPOS really need to step it up here, as it letting down a good product.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: I have misplaced my usb dongle. Are they available to replace?**
A: Hello and thank you for your question. The H3PRO dongle is available on our website under the name "GSA H3PRO Dongle". Hope this answers your question. Best Regards EPOS Support Team.

**Q: Is there sidetone functionality when using 3.5mm jack?**
A: Hello and thank you for your question. You can achieve the sidetone functionality if you switch from the 3.5mm jack to USB as the Gaming suite won't register a device connected as analog. Hope this answers your question. Best Regards EPOS Support Team.

**Q: Is this headset compatible with playstation?**
A: Hello and thank you for your question. Yes, the H3PRO is compatible with PS4, PS5, PC wirelessly and wired. For Xbox series X|S - One, Nintendo Switch and Mac, you will need the 3.5mm console cable. Hope this answers your question. Best Regards EPOS Support Team.

**Q: Can you only make calls via phone with the dongle? And does it have a phone mic for outside use?**
A: You can connect to your phone by Bluetooth and make calls. The headset can remain connected to another device through the dongle at the same time. Not sure what you mean by phone mic for outside use but you can use the boom mic or remove it and use the internal mic. The other person will be able to hear the wind though, if there is any.

### ⭐⭐ Great sound on PC; bad on console.
*by B***L on 28 September 2022*

The build quality is excellent, the gold and green (in my case) looks very stylish and understated. The packaging and accessories are all of a very high standard, but for a piece of equipment in excess of £200, I was expecting much more in terms of sound quality on a console… I bought the H3PRO Hybrid on the strength you can customize the audio and save the ‘Profiles’, via Windows software. I thought these profiles would be saved to the headset, just as they can be saved to my Logitech G933 Artemis Spectrum wireless headset and also a pair of Turtle Beach's I had prior to the Logitech's. But, how wrong I was. If you are a PC gamer, you can tweak the audio and mic to your liking via the EPOS Gaming Suite and save these custom profiles. They sound great on PC and, importantly, *only* on PC. However, I’m a PS5 gamer, and I was disappointed (to say the least), to find that you have to suffer the flat equaliser setting and there’s absolutely no way of changing it. No bass, treble or 7.1 surround sound enhancements whatsoever; just the flat, bland response you would expect from a graphic equaliser with all the sliders set to zero. You could be forgiven for thinking the sound was coming from a much cheaper headset than it is. What’s more, there’s nothing in the manuals or software which states these custom profiles can only be used on a PC and no mention of this fact on their website. It was only when I called their support line that I was told they only work on PC!! I wanted to like this headset so badly, but for a premium, top-of-the-range £200+ device, the very ordinary, bland sound on a console is a huge let down.
