Handles most common household and automotive screws; it isn't intended for big industrial and tiny electronics screws. Nice heavy metal, with a soft case to keep them from getting scratched. Not sure what metal it is, seems too heavy for aluminum, but not attracted at all by even a strong rare-earth magnet.
