Would be a nightmare trying to cut it to fit. I couldn't see it happening. **Q: Does this have a spot for the heater behind the background?** A: Yes and no. I have it setup in a 29 gallon tank but it is about 2” off the back wall to have a heater and intake pipe hidden behind the wall. I also cut out two parts of the wall and added some plastic mesh to allow the water to cycle through the tank.
