One of those should fit your Sony a7R. In order to mount the Viewfinder onto your camera, you need to remove the 'Eyepiece Cup' from your camera which is very easy to do and a standard procedure. For the canon, it is very simple, I slide the canon rubber eyepiece off the viewfinder, and slide in the angle viewfinder, thats it. I assume it is similar for Nikon. **Q: What Fuji cameras will this work with?** A: It depends upon what type of camera you have. In this ever rapidly changing market, it's not feasible to list all the past and current model lineup of all the cameras. The viewfinder works with most DSLR's. Some Fuji camera bodies are very similar to Nikon bodies. If that's the case with your camera, one of the included adapters in the package should work for your camera. So I purchased this viewer to aid in composing at difficult positions. The viewer has click locks as the viewer is rotated and stays in place at the desired position. The image is clear and fills a full image from the viewfinder of the camera at 1x. At 2x the view is enlarged so some of the image is cut off but not very much and it is still usable. Focusing was not an issue as I set the viewfinder focus to a point that the camera information was sharp. This made focusing the lens easier as I knew the internal image was good.My only concern is not with the viewfinder itself but with anything in the hot shoe that is higher than 1.5 inches. In my case, I use a YONGNUO YN560-TX flash transmitter which is in the way.
