It is a 40 day implementation guide to find your purpose, learn more about yourself, and improve yourself so you can improve the lives of and care for those you care about. I just completed Day 31, and I REALLY like it and am so happy and feel so blessed to discover this book and his previous one.. which I am also almost done reading. The books are helpful, entertaining, teach you more about yourself and help you improve yourself and your life so you can take better care of your loved ones. Which includes yourself.. I really love that this book gives pointed questions that make you really think about how to help yourself so you can help others, and does not just give general advice!! I am reading through for the first round of 40 days, and for the next round, I plan to listen to the audio version as well, in which he gives additional info and stories that are NOT FOUND in the book!!! I know he gave access to the audio book to those who purchased this book early, which I did, but I could not access it and decided to go ahead and buy it anyway, even though I am on a budget, like everyone else.. Anyway, I do hope you will pick up a copy if you haven’t already because I believe it will make a big difference for you and those you care about if you just read it and follow along and do not stop after trying this for at least six months. I do not usually do this and I rarely rarely write reviews, but I am so grateful and thankful I discovered this book and I hope you will feel the same. This is a real gift to anyone who, like me, had read just about every book out there in an attempt to know myself, improve myself, and resolve lifelong unhealthy patterns. From reading all of those books, I could certainly think about my issues, think about what I I could do better, but I didn't have action to it. Not REAL, lasting, confident belief. Well, CYP has given me tools that I can use, a path to follow that gives an incremental yet courageous and bold actions to make the transformations I WANT to make and DESIRE to make real. Love this book! *by R***E on September 17, 2017* Love this book! I did the Claim Your Power 8-week online course last year, did a 4-day CYP Live program afterwards in 2016 and also CYP Live 4-day program this year. Seeing Mastin live and experiencing his teachings in person with others is such a great experience! Even watching the videos, you get a sense of positive energy and authenticity. Before that, i saw Mastin Kipp on Oprah and then followed TheDailyLove.com when it was active. Mastin is a master at implementation, this is not just a self-help book you put back on the shelf. Do the 40-day program and take daily action and gain momentum, in baby steps and imperfectly. I'm sometimes a slow learner, and need the repetition. I think we all need the repetition to break tough, old, ingrained patterns. But what he says is true - courage before clarity - take action and then you will see things change. We all have past traumas to heal and need to take the responsibility for our emotions, feeling them to heal them, and get true happiness, feeling more positive emotions from a heart-based place rather than stuck in our heads on whatever level of thinking you get stuck on. Your best thinking got you where you are right now. Breaking through emotions and survival patterns can change your life rapidly if you keep going with the momentum. Resetting your thermostat (or higher frequency living) is what keeps you going. Feel the (irrational) fears and keep moving forward. Find your purpose and focus on living your purpose and the money will follow. I have seen at least one person make drastic changes in the course of a year and others doing it in 2-3 years. Keep working hard and it is possible to pursue your purpose and passions and change your life. It is never too late!
