This is a great idea, however there are a few things that come up a bit short about this product. The cap spout feels like it is going to tear at some point due to the way the cap is secured. It is thin plastic. This lid fit my primer can perfectly, however as others have mentioned it actually doesnt fit my regular paint cans perfectly. I used some tape and it has held up fine. Other than that, it has served the purpose i wanted. Getting paint out of the can is easier, and i don't need to use a pour spout which is another thing to wash. I also wasted less paint. I do a lot of small batches, so opening and closing paint cans had become a chore. This has made things much easier in that respect. I am on my 2nd batch of cans for these lids, so hopefully these last a few more cans. When you poured in small container there no paint waste or cleanup which is very nice.
