This resulted in the shower head being too high to reach. Also, a regular arm put the shower head too far into the 45" length causing the water to ricochet off the tile wall and through the frameless shower wall seams. This can lead to the water wicking up the drywall under the base molding. After weeks of searching I found this extension which allows the shower head to be pointed down instead of angled.
