I've used other brands and had to replace frequently due to moisture.** A: Used this on a 35 day trip, with weather conditions varying from 102 high, to 27 degree low. The only issue we had with the fans is when we overloaded the refrigerator, and pushed a jar against the switch, inadvertently turning it off. No moisture issues, and between this fan and the other fan I installed on the outside, the fridge performed much much better. We actually set the fridge down two steps in the high temp environment. (1 only covers 1/2 of the coil)** A: Not sure since mine works great in my rv refrigerator which is only 10 cf but I would think 2 would be better than 1 ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Solved my RV Fridge's problems *by E***S on Reviewed in the United States on 19 June 2023* Yes, this is a bit expensive, at least in my opinion, but I'm so glad I got it. My 20+ year old fridge in my rv has a lot of trouble keeping even remotely cool once the outside temps warm up in spring and summer. After much reading I saw that many use a fan such as this and add a fan behind the fridge in the area on accessible on the outside of the rv. This fan clips right onto the aluminum fins at the fridge on the inside and has a nice long wire to wire to a dc connection. I couldn't use my fridge light connection as it is non-working, so I ran the wire down through the drain tube at the back of fridge and it comes out to the outside where I then connected it to a small dc block that power was supplied to by my convertor. Piece of cake! And it works like a charm. I played with positions on the fins and finally settled at midway vertically and to the far left horizontally, to get the best results. My fins have not iced or frosted over since and I was having to defrost weekly. The temps are also staying around 32 with the fridge set on 4 out of 5 cooling settings. I am very happy with this fan and while I've not had it but several weeks, I can't see any reason it won't last a very long time. Placing a thermometer in the fridge, it was quite often too warm. Having this fan has made our fridge cooler over all and far more even temp top to bottom.
