Upon opening the package I found the shelves had fallen down inside the box and were damaged. The holes they chose to use for the pegs holding up the shelves, were over drilled, making the shelf fall out. Some of the other holes are so small, the pegs do not fit. Some places the screws are not sank in all the way. The wood is splintered and cracked in many places; and in at least one case, was painted over with varnish, so they knew when it left the factory it was sub par. They used cheap plywood with a laminated paper veneer and veneered strips to cover the edges. Unfortunately whoever put the screws in did not take into the account that it's just a thin strip of veneer, not a solid single board. All the screws are sank too close to the edge of the unit causing the finish strip to crack off. The shelves themselves have at least two that were totally damaged and I had to do repairs too in order for them to work at all. The person who put this together pounded in the metal side rails so hard that they went all the way through the other side of the board, compromising its ability to stay in the unit because the peg area had been totally blown out. This company is need of quality control badly. This was not a value for the money. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Expect to rework the entire unit before installing *by T***S on Reviewed in the United States on September 7, 2022* The 3 shelves aren’t secured in shipping so expect them to be damaged and cause damage to the finish.Virtually all the screws were backed out upon arrival. The design and overall concept is fine…. I think the poor preparation for shipping is the root of the issue.I basically disassembled the entire thing, used wood glue this time and reassembled the unit.I think it’s going to work fine, but was hoping it’d come ready to install ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Arrived broken. *by K***F on Reviewed in the United States on February 4, 2022* The corners of the adjustable shelves were crushed and splintered where the edge rails are attached.We love these shelves in general and will repair this one rather than go through the hassle of returning and reordering something so large and heavy.
