I received the knife on 6/30/2022, and the box and label state "Made in China." ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Been using Furi Knives for 15 years and counting, and I am extremely happy with them! *by F***! on January 7, 2021* I splurged on a complete set of Furi knives 15 years ago now and in that time I have used them (and only them) every single day. I have had no issues with them at all, but finally had to repurchase this chefs knife as I dropped it on our tiled floor and bent the tip badly. I will be taking it to see if I can get it repaired.I purchased another knife that was highly recommended (although cheaper) to use until I got around to getting my Furi chefs knife repaired but that one became rusty within two weeks! So I bit the bullet and purchased two more Furi chef knives so that when my chefs knife is being repaired or when they are in getting sharpened I have back up knives.I only wish I could purchase the small serrated knife here. I haven't seen that for sale and along with the chefs knife is the one I use the most.Excellent knives. Maybe not top of the range but perfect for me. I do a LOT of cooking, and all of my furi knives are in perfect shape (except the one I dropped) No issues with rusting, they stay sharp for a very long time, they are extremely well balanced and even though my cooking has improved exponentially in the past 14 years since I purchased the knives and I have updated most of the other items in my kitchen during that time, buying only the best cookware etc on the market, I am very happy to stick with Furi for all of my knives!I get them professionally sharpened about, well, honestly, twice, ever. I have decided to step up on that and get them done every 6-12 months which I can easily do now I have backup Furi knives.I purchased one of those Furi diamond fingers sharpening tools and it left some scratches on the blades, so I am just going back to getting them done professionally. Shamefully, sharpening is not my forte and I have accepted that.The Furi knives I use the most are the chefs knife, the small serrated knife, the serrated bread knife and the boning/carving knife along with the carving fork. You really can't go wrong with those knives.But the chefs knife is the one I reach for 99% of the time.My daughter recently watched me slice the skin off a butternut squash and started to ask me why I didn't use a peeler until she saw how quickly and finely I was able to remove the skin using only the chefs knife.
