It smooths the skin , it doesn't seem to agitate it in any way and smells really good. My only issue with this as well as other Sol de Janeiro products is that it needs to be more affordable. I don't buy it regularly because the price is way too high in my opinion. Sol de Janeiro needs to do better than this to make their products more accessible to everyone and then it's a win win. With that said it's probably one of if not the best body washes I've ever used.
