Q: can i use this after the primary fermentation?

I use this for cider and mead after primary fermentation.

Q: is that two tsp of bentonite for a 5 gallon batch of wine or is it for a gallon? Also, this bentonite looks much different from other bentonite

Thank you for your inquiry. The directions on the package is to use 4 teaspoons with 1 1/3 cup of warm water for 5 gallons.

Q: can this be used for red wine during the final clarifying process?

I have used it while clearing a Cherry Wine, a Mango Wine, and a Mixed Berry Wine and all of them ended up being very clear. I think it will work for your wine. The only issue I have is in creating the "slush' mixture to add to the wine. I have found that by mixing the bentonite in a 1/2 cup of the wine being made works best for me. Thanks

I do not know, but it works with mead.
