These shades are great for hiding easier-to-use blinds underneath, or to add color and height to you windows. MEASURING: Please provide us with the finished width and length that you would like on your completed faux shade(s). LENGTH: Most shades are between 12 & 18 inches long. If you are not sure about length, we recommend hanging up a pillow case at different lengths in order to get a good idea of how much of your window you would like to cover. We will need to know the finished length you would like on the completed faux shade (with folds and all). WIDTH: If you are hanging the shade inside of your window frame, we need the width of your window frame, less a 1/4 inch (1/8 of an inch clearance per side). You do not want the shades to touch the sides of your window frame or they will bunch up and not hang flat. If you are hanging the shade on the outside of your window frame, I recommend having it line up with the outside edges of your molding, or 2 inches past the edge of your window frame if there isn't molding. We rely on you to do the necessary calculations and supply us with exact dimensions. Please let us know if you have any questions! Orders with custom measurements are not returnable.
