My curls are always soft yet defined. It's worth noting that the product works best when applied to sopping wet hair (as advised on the bottle). This doubles the amount of time it takes to do my hair because my hair dries pretty slowly, so I have to wait a while to diffuse. I've scrunched my wet hair in a microfiber towel and then applied the product, which ends up being fine, but not as good as when I apply the product properly. Just something to consider!
