This is a "clean eating" product. It's freeze dried so it reminded me of an MRE. It's filling and doesn't take a lot of time to fix. Add water, stir, microwave, stir again, cool and eat. I had the sweet and sour. It was okay. Imagine a red mashed potato mix with some green onion in it. It's fairly non-descript. It has flavor but nothing I would write home about. Not spicy at all. Some people complained about not having a scoop for it. It says in the directions what the measurements for the scoops are though. 2 scoops = 8.5 oz. It's one for one water to mix. I don't think I would order this one again.
