I had to bleach it too as the moisture reallllllly sticks into the foam. My pillow has a small hole which was nice to feel if the core of the pillow was dry. I love this pillow with 5 stars, but drying it was a pain in the butt. It fell apart and exploded memory foam out of the hole in the dryer. Still worth it **Q: Is the cover removable?** A: In order to enable the whole pillow to be washable, the cover is not removable. However, a standard 54 x 20 inch body pillow case or cover will fit the pillow. **Q: will it help cool the person using it?** A: It takes on the temperature of the room. If you keep it cool, your pillow will stay cool. It doesn't retain heat at all. It also stays fluffy.
