As a matter of fact, the oldest one uses his for school. He goes to tech and said he stopped carrying his big book bag into the tech school because he only needed a few things. So he uses the leg bag to carry his keys, wallet and smaller things he uses like pen, etc. He said the guard stopped him the first day because he thought it was a holster. All in all, good knife - does what it is intended to do and isn't a cheap POS. The only negative thing I would say is that these blades don't lock open. I didn't even think at this day and age that I had to specifically look for "locking blade" or i probably wouldn't have bought these. Watched my gf cutting a conk off a tree stump and watched her almost lose a couple fingers when she pushed on the handle and it snapped shut on her. She got lucky and only got a good cut instead!
