I've read reviews on others where they weren't so strong, and I was worried that since the price was so cheap on this one, it might not hold up. Wrong! It had gotten wrapped around the poles on the dock, dragged across rocks and everything and it held up great! My dog may look small, but he's just under 50 lbs and he's very strong. This is nice and durable and allowed us to have a safe, but fun adventure! I have a very active 60 pound husky and needed something to tether him when we go on weekend camping trips. It's important that the lead we use is extremely durable, reliable and not prone to tangling or snagging. I've gone through 3 leads already and he's only 2yo. This one is by far the best I've seen. He often sprints to the very end and likes to bungy on it and jump in the air when it snaps back, and not one thread is out of place after about 3 months of frequent use.
