The edges are pretty rough. The tip of the cone was flat which is annoying if you're using it to teach kids properties of solid figures. I didn't read under the picture measurements carefully, so I didn't notice that there are 40 cubes and just 5 of each of the other shapes. The figures are tiny, but I expected that. The sphere is about the size of a marble. The whole thing is 5 little individual packages that have 8 cubes and one of each other shape. The packages are identical so only the cubes are really different colors (all the spheres are red, pyramids are all yellow, etc).
