**Q: Whats a good portable power supply would work for this?**
A: It's a 5v fan, so pretty much any USB battery pack would work just fine. However, I used a much smaller rechargeable 3.7v battery, and it pumps out plenty enough air for my purposes.

**Q: What could i attach to the outlet for airflow redirection?**
A: I couldn’t find anything that shape so I switch to this and redirected air with PVC.

I needed 12v instead of USB anyway so this worked a lot better for me.   More air flow too.

A: yes, it allows fans to be powered through USB ports found behind game consoles or portable power banks etc.

**Q: will the USB power bank gets warm?**
A: It actually blows air pretty good inside my cosplay costume. It does not get hot, but slightly warm.
Acceptable in my Storm Trooper and motorcycle helmet. I am glad I bought.

I happen to love centrifugal cooling fans because they move air in a very controlled manner and do so very quietly. I use these on various applications within my networking and equipment racks to keep things from overheating and they just hum along very smoothly and quietly even at full blast. Only caveat is you get lower CFM for the size of the fan compared to a box fan but because the air is directed in such a concentrated way it solves thermal issues from specific processors far better than a standard box fan and without the crazy noise and vibration.

I have my laptop wired to a monitor, keyboard/mouse from inside of a desk drawer. This fan mounted perfectly to the drawer to exhaust the built-up heat and comes on via the laptop's USB when powered on. I had to extend the wire a bit, as the wire that it comes with is pretty short at about 6" or so. My gaming laptop now stays cool to the touch after adding this fan. Before installing, I had to at least pop the drawer open a bit to vent the heat out, and you could feel the heat dissipating from the drawer. Great fan, it's just a bit loud for as small as it is. EDIT: I added an inline controller to be able to adjust the fan speed level. I figured I don't need this thing running full bore and being so loud all the time, but unfortunately this fan runs the same speed and loudness from 3v to 5v so there's no turning it down.
