Review: Easiest, brightest colors, great for kids - I have played around with face paint for my small children (4 and 6) in the past, and I've worked with the sponges and the brushes...yada yada. It was, frankly, a pain, and hard to get good at when you are just goofing around. I wanted something with better color (more vibrant) and easier to use. I can't believe how wonderful these are. My kids actually asked if they could do each others' faces (immediately upon opening these), and their drawings were actually wonderful, and easy to get off with a touch of soap and water. I was very pleased with the vibrant colors, and that the "crayons" actually twist up to give you more product than you see upon opening them. One note: The silver is not very visible. If you are buying it just for the silver or if the silver is important, you should probably get something else, or get just a silver separately if you really need it. It's not critical for us, so my kids just call it "adding sparkle" (aka, I can't see it, but they're happy, so I'm happy).

So don't do that and you'll be fine. Lol). She loves them, and they keep her busy! The reviews that say it's difficult to do fine details are correct, since they are so blunt, but you could probably use a small brush if you were doing something that needed fine details. For our purposes, they are perfect. Definitely a great product, especially considering the price. Once she uses them up, I'll probably purchase again.

Really happy with these face paint crayons. My biggest concern was irritating skin and being tough to wash off. Did not irritate skin and removed very easily with wet wipe or makeup removing wipe. Used for Halloween costumes and lasted fine for few hours.
