It tastes bitter. I think, it is buckwheat honey (was is considered as valuable for its healing properties). Yes, package is leaking. It is expected because honey is liquid and it is hard to transport at specified price. I've wiped closed box with wet towel until it is clean and doesn't stick. Wax of comb is very solid and chewable. I think, it is the sign of good quality and healthy bees. I've found nothing except honey and honeycomb in the box. Product is quite pure. My suggestion to the manufacturer is to review product description.
