That’s surprising for a BUSH FURNITURE product. This is a heavy piece and I’d recommend a second set of patient hands. I did it alone and it took me nearly 6 hours! So many pieces and tons of hardware. It IS made of MDF so use great caution not to over tighten the screws or the MDF will strip. Be very careful when sliding the drawers in. If the two parts of the slide are not PERFECTLY lined up, the drawers will stick and it’s very difficult to get them free. The color is not really a “cherry” as it is darker than the photos on AMAZON show. But, when it’s assembled, it looks nice. It took me about two hours to put it together, and I am used to assembling items like this. With that said, it does look good when finished.
