**Q: What is the rpm of this drive?**
A: Skyhawk have always been 7200rpm surveillance HDD, others wise it wouldn't be able to support 64HD cameras.

Maybe on this new version they've found a way to allow it down to 5900rpm yet still record data at the same rate, but I very much doubt it.

Oddly I can not find any reference to the rpm on the Seagate site. It just gives data figures
