Given the exact same knife, including the decorative center rivet, is being offered under several brands I suspect it is made by one of the better factories in China and rebranded. I'm very happy with it so far. **Q: What is the height of the handle from the bottom of the blade?** A: From the top of the handle to the bottom of the blade is 2 inches. From to bottom of the handle to the bottom of the blade is 1 inch **Q: How does one sharpen this knife?** A: Use a steel or ceramic rod knife sharpener to acquire a sharp edge again. If it is really dull move to a diamond rod knife sharpener as it will cut into the blade a bit more.
