I did not want to spend $$$ on a remote start system so I opted for this for around 100 bucks. Best 100 bucks I have spent in a while. Set up and stowing is quick and easy. Since the unit keep your windshield above freezing temps there is no ice build up or fogging. Get in the car and leave a few miles your car is warm enough for the defrost and heater to take over. I would suggest a “flat” all weather grounded extension cord to run from in the car to a GFI power plug. Made in the USA, simple and practical.
