I was a bit hesitant to use this, so I got one of those sponge makeup appliers and sat there learning how to use that (I know, funny---but remember I can't wear makeup so everything is new to me!). I applied water to the sponge and then rung it out. I didn't want to touch my face with my hands, so I was trusting the sponge would work better. I applied it very lightly to my face to see if I would end up with a break out. Nope! I did make sure to wash my face completely before bed and go through my normal cleansing and moisturizing routine. The next day, I applied it again. No itching, no redness...nothing. Just clear skin. I will say that I probably need to still add a moisturizer because in some areas I'm really dry (in my photo--under my eyes needs some help for sure). And it isn't always full coverage so if you have a red bump or two, probably use a primer. It does cover very well in other areas, but for me, I think I need to do a little extra. I'm also not sure if this shade is correct. It almost seems too light for my skin tone. But overall, I'm happy with it. I also always make sure I wash everything that touches my face and I try not to use my hands. I also don't use any kind of wiping or gliding motion. Instead, I just blot the liquid on my face. Hopefully, this has helped someone like me who struggles with dry skin and needing non-comedogenic makeup so they don't break out. I'm so happy I can wear makeup again!
