I would give 5 stars to this product because it has overall good quality. The textiles (velvet and mix of polyester and cotton) look and feel fantastic. However, the quality of the zipper is questionable. The first time I tried the gown, the zipper got stuck at the bottom where the zipper joins together. When I tried to lossen it up, the zipper dettached from the gown, and I did not force it to hard. I will have to go to a tailor to get a better quality zipper which will cost me an extra $20 to $30 to fix, but I figure it is ok given that I only paid $189.99 for this gown. The zipper is made of very thin metal which suggest that it will not last long. As I said, overall good quality, but the zipper could have been of better quality. I included a picture of the actual zipper and I compare it to a zipper of better quality from a doctoral gown of one of my colleagues.
