I bought these for my mom as part of her Christmas gift this year. When they arrived, they were in a HUGE box. In the box was an airtight bag containing the two pillows. At first I was worried because the pillows were so flat but I decided to let it go and I wrapped them for Christmas. After my mom opened them on Christmas day, I put the pillows in the dryer on air for about 10 minutes and the pillows literally came to life. They were so fluffy and soft but still able to be squished and bent the way my mom would need them to be when she slept. There was no weird smell on the pillows after I opened them and the cover is a great material for a down pillow; the feathers hardly ever stick out. I borrowed these from mom mom a few days ago for a quick nap and I will be buying some for myself soon. They are wonderful! My mom cannot stop raving about how good her sleep is with these pillows. I would recommend them to anyone.
