**Q: My tv has one hdmi but xbox and roku use hdmi so i need two hdmi ports into one. Will this work since only one unit will be on at a time?**
A: It did not work for me

A: Throw this thing in the trash...that's where I put mine..it's junk...get a powered one..they work

I bought this so I could split the HDMI coming off my home security system. It seems to cut down the video signal enough that one of the connected monitors didn't work. There wasn't enough  signal for it to pick up the video feed on one monitor.Basically, this product didn't work for me.
