## Description

Meister Gel Armor stands for premium gear, with only the highest quality materials, design and fit. The Meister Gel Armor Bag Mitts are constructed from 100% authentic full-grain premium cowhide leather which is both extremely supple and durable. The integrated gel adds a high level of cushioning and comfort in addition to adding weight to the gloves for a true boxing workout feel. For bag work, target pad work or for sparring, you can slip these mitts on and off in seconds to minimize downtime in your workout without sacrificing protection. The mobile thumb also allows you to grip the wrist strap or other items unlike traditional boxing gloves. Also unlike many other bag mitts and bag gloves on the market, the Meister Gel Armor mitts are designed with an ideally curved wrist opening which naturally hugs the user's arm. Once you strap in with the elasticated oversized wrist strap, you will immediately notice the braced wrist support. Mesh and air holes on the palm and underside of the fingers allow for airflow to cool and reduce sweating in the hands. Truly a cut above, the Meister Gel Armor Mitts will make you never want to hit the heavy bag with anything else again. These mitts are designed to be worn WITHOUT HAND WRAPS - if you plan to wear wraps, order one size up.

Review: Very good training gloves - Great for training. Easy to put on/take off and comfortable. Plenty of protection and support without wraps. Very good value, imo.
Review: Incredible protection and durability for the price—Coach approved bag mitts! - My 12-year-old son has been using the Meister (12 oz) Gel Armor Bag Mitts since December 2025, and they have exceeded our expectations in every way. For the cost, you simply cannot beat the quality and protection these offer. Pros: Superb Impact Protection: The Gel Armor padding is incredible. My son barely feels any impact on his fists when training, which gives me great peace of mind regarding his hand safety. Premium Materials: The fact that these are made from real full-grain cowhide leather is a massive plus. They feel premium and are holding up beautifully. Excellent Durability: After months of regular, heavy use on the bags, they are proving to be extremely durable. Comfortable Fit: They fit his hands perfectly and provide a very comfortable training experience. Important Note on Use: Bag Use Only: It is worth noting that the thumb on these mitts is not padded. Because of this, they should strictly be used as a bag glove and are not meant for sparring. Coach Approved: Even his coach tried them out and was quite impressed with the overall build and protection they offer for bag work. Final Verdict: If you are looking for a high-quality, real leather training mitt that provides top-tier fist protection for heavy bag work without breaking the bank, these are a fantastic investment.

### ⭐ Poor Protection – Size Expands With Use
*by D***R on 6 March 2026*

The outer material of the gloves initially appears to be of decent quality. However, the padding and structure are not solid enough. After some use, the gloves seem to expand and become loose, which affects stability and protection. Unfortunately, during training my hand got hurt and I suspect it may even be fractured. For boxing gloves, proper hand protection is essential, and these did not provide it. Edit: I don’t recommend these. The padding flattened out, and now it hurts my hands to punch. I already had to buy a new pair.
