Review: Love the Retro 50's vibe - My retro 50's retro kitchen wall clock was knocked off the wall and broke. I was very happy to find this as a replacement. The design and the fire engine red is pure retro - very much like the one my mom had when I was a kid. While the body is plastic, it is nice and shiny and the design is a combo of art deco and retro 50's. I especially like the silver trim around the face. As to the accuracy, one review noted the hour hand did not align to the number when at the top of the hour. The hands on mine are perfectly aligned. The second hand on my old clock ticked off each second and you could hear the ticking - this one has more of a sweep motion and is silent (sweep meaning it probably has 20 movements per second rather than one on my old clock making it look like a smooth sweeping motion). I was a little disappointed, but after one day, I think I like the sweep motion on this much better (more like my mom's old electric clock). The face cover is very clear, but definitely a hard plastic. Good design, accurate time, nice color and very shiny. LOVE this clock.

My retro 50's retro kitchen wall clock was knocked off the wall and broke. I was very happy to find this as a replacement. The design and the fire engine red is pure retro - very much like the one my mom had when I was a kid. While the body is plastic, it is nice and shiny and the design is a combo of art deco and retro 50's. I especially like the silver trim around the face. As to the accuracy, one review noted the hour hand did not align to the number when at the top of the hour. The hands on mine are perfectly aligned. The second hand on my old clock ticked off each second and you could hear the ticking - this one has more of a sweep motion and is silent (sweep meaning it probably has 20 movements per second rather than one on my old clock making it look like a smooth sweeping motion). I was a little disappointed, but after one day, I think I like the sweep motion on this much better (more like my mom's old electric clock). The face cover is very clear, but definitely a hard plastic. Good design, accurate time, nice color and very shiny. LOVE this clock.

### ⭐ Nice clock. Issue - Doesn't work. I've bought 2.

I bought this clock Feb 8, 2021. I bought it again on June 6, 2023. I like it. Issue? It doesn't work. The first time, I hung it. It ran well for about 2 years. (Though I replaced the battery a few times.) Then, 2 years later, the battery ran out. I put in a brand new battery. Dead within 24 hours. I put in another battery. Dead again within 24 hours. I thought the clock mechanism was shot, so, I ordered another clock this year on June 6, 2023. It ran all summer, for precisely 4 months. I then replaced the battery. By the time awoke the next morning, it was dead. I put in another brand new battery. Didn't last until morning. I know, the clock doesn't cost much. It is cheap. It's cute... I'll say that. But the last one I purchased only lasted 4 months, and though it is less than $20 I'd like to think it might last a LITTLE bit longer.... My parents bought a clock in 1975. Still works! So, it is a disappointment. My advice is to choose another one. It won't last.
