As a size 14/16 I ordered a size L and it's perfect. It fits really well without too much hassle for my swelling. I will say the crotch area takes some getting used to....especially with the swelling, however overall it's comfortable to wear around the clock without issues. I even have super thicc thighs and it was still fine with a little wiggling in the beginning.
