Only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because it lost momentum spinning immediately if it touches the sides or bottom to "scrub" hard to remove makeup. Easy fix is to apply brush cleaner to brush before spinning in water. Brushes came out barely damp and clean. Rinsing with clean water was not nessisary as I did and there was no soap residue in water afterwards. I was impressed at how efficiently the brush was cleaned. It took several times because I hadn't cleaned it in a few weeks, but I could not be happier with the outcome.
